Emmanuel Adebayor has been given
compassionate leave by Tottenham after
revealing he contemplated suicide.
He has already been ruled out of Sunday’s final
game of the season against Everton and he will
not go on their post-season tour of Malaysia and
Sydney.
It means he has almost certainly played his last
game for the club.
The troubled Togolese striker, 31, has held urgent
talks with his club after the latest round of his
explosive public war of words with his family.
Mirror Sport today published his disturbing
allegations that he had to be talked out of killing
himself by his sister Iyabo.
