Be Ready To Refund Stolen Money, El Rufai Tells PDP

KADUNA – Kaduna State Governor-elect, Mallam
Nasir El Rufai Tuesday said that all stolen money
by the current ruling party, the Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, must be refunded as
soon as the incoming government of the All
Progressive Change, APC, was sworn in on May
29th, 2015.
The former Minster of the Federal Capital
Territory, FCT, made the statement in a speech
yesterday when executive members of the
National Union of Textile Garments and Tailoring
Workers of Nigeria, NUTGTWN, paid him a
courtesy visit in his private residence in Kaduna.
El-Rufai said, “we will politely ask those who stole
government money to return the funds.
“This is because people who are in government
now (PDP) are there to work for themselves but
the APC government is made up of people who
are ready to work for the masses and betterment
of the country.
“We will work with the textile union to ensure that
lives of the average Nigerians get better”, he said.
The former Minister decried what he described as
the “shameful” state of the textile industry in the
area, pledging that his government will reverse
the trend.
