Army Foils B'Haram Attacks In Lagos, Arrest Members

The Nigerian army have made a major gain in the fight
against Boko Haram insurgents as those fleeing the
battlefield in Borno state have been nabbed in Lagos
state.
Suspected Boko Haram leader arrested in
Maiduguri.
They were said have fled Borno, Adamawa and Yobe
states to the south to continue their evil activities.
This revelation was known to newsmen by the General
Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 division, Major General
Isidore Edet when he decorated newly promoted officers,
The Sun reports.
He also stated that about 15 pipeline vandals were
arrested in Ikorodu and Arepo areas of the state.
Edet stated further that army will work hard in ensuring
the safety of lives and property within Lagos and Ogun
states adding that young ladies were among the vandals
arrested.
The army boss explained that his division is making
effort to block the influx of Boko Haram fighters into the
state stating that investigation is ongoing to uncover
other members of the sect is hiding.
In a related development, Boko Haram militants had
reportedly stormed Gulak, the administrative
headquarters of Madagali in northern part of Adamawa
state in an apparent mission to order to take it over the
facility.
The militants set ablaze a military base on fire and
carted away artilleries.
