Memorandum of Understanding on the Development of
Commodity Value Chains between the two states while
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode (right
behind) and Kebbi State Governor, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu (left

March 23, 2016.
Lagos State consumes N135 billion worth of rice and 2.19
million herds of cattle annually, says Governor Akinwunmi
Ambode.
The governor who disclosed this on at the State House,
Ikeja, Lagos, southwest Nigeria on the occasion of the
signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Lagos
and Kebbi State on the development of Commodity Value
Chains, said the future of Lagos State was partly tied to
deliberate resolution on food security.
He said food production and self-sufficiency required its
immediate attention at policy and strategic levels to
sustain the state, adding that Lagos State is the largest
consumer of food commodities in Nigeria by virtue of its
population.
“We have the market, with the required purchasing power
also. Lagos State has an estimated consumption of over
798,000 metric tonnes of milled rice per year which is
equivalent to 15.96 million of 50kg bags, with a value of
N135 billion per annum.
“We have the economic prowess to produce rice locally.
The era of imported rice is gone. The reality is for all of us
to embrace the consumption of local foodstuff and
commodities. In addition to rice, Lagos is currently
consuming 6,000 herds of cattle daily which may increase
to 8,000 in the next five years,” he said.
According to Ambode, the bulk of the vegetables produced
in the country end up in the Lagos markets as the state is
one of the largest producers of poultry and thus had a large
demand for maize for livestock feed production.
“The state also houses most of the industrial users of
wheat and sorghum; mostly flour mills, bakeries, breweries
and food manufacturers. Kebbi State, on the other hand, is
blessed with a vast arable land suitable for the cultivation
of rice, wheat, groundnut, maize, sorghum and sugar cane.
“It is an agrarian State with over 1.2 million hectares of
arable land characterised by very large floodplains, lowland
swamps and gentle slopes. In the 2014/2015 wet season,
over 600,000 hectares of land was deployed for rice
cultivation in the three senatorial areas of the state.
“The people are traditionally rice farmers with average
land holding of about 10 hectares. currently, Kebbi has over
50,000 metric tonnes of paddy in store produced from the
last two planting seasons,” he said.
The governor said with these considerations in mind,
Lagos and Kebbi States had decided to collaborate and
exploit areas of comparative advantage to create value for
both states, saying that this alliance would ensure food
security, job creation, increase in farmers’ income and the
overall improvement in the living conditions of the
residents of both states through wealth creation and
poverty reduction.
He added that the collaboration was in line with the clarion
call and policy direction given by the President,
Muhammadu Buhari, on the need “to feed ourselves.”

» Lagos Consumes N135bn Rice, N2.19m Cattle Annually — Ambode «
» "Those Calling For CBN Governor's Sack Are Palmwine Drinkers" - Oshiomhole «
Edo State governor says CBN governorship should not be
politicised
Ejiofor Alike in Lagos and Paul Obi in Abuja
Edo State Governor, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole and a coalition
of civil society groups in the country yesterday condemned
those calling for the sack of the Governor of the Central
Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele, describing
them as faceless manipulators of the Nigerian economy
who are bent on wasting their time.
They stated that President Muhammadu Buhari would not
be fooled by them into sacking the CBN governor.
Oshiomhole said the hiring and firing of the CBN governor
is not a political decision because institutions such as the
central bank are central to economic growth and
development of any serious nation.
The governor argued that those angling for the sack of
Emefiele were merely invisible hands who have continued
to thwart the nation’s economic resources for their selfish
interest.
The governor made the statement yesterday in Abuja
during his visit to the National Universities Commission
(NUC) to present a letter of recognition of the Edo
University in Iyamho.
“If a governor is doing fine, his hiring and firing is not a
matter that should be discussed by faceless Facebook
manipulators, and by the time you unmask the people
behind it, you will discover that they are palm wine
drinkers,” he said.
Oshiomhole said with the challenge of running the
economy undergoing a recession where there is limited
inflow of foreign exchange, the government does not want
to trigger a process that will lead to endless devaluation
that will ultimately reduce the Nigerian naira to
Zimbabwean dollar.
“President Buhari is not going to be fooled by people who
want to have a regime where government is just an
onlooker and allow the naira to become worthless and
people are making money from speculation. So those guys
are wasting their time,” he said.
The Edo State governor noted that the CBN governor was
right in insisting on the 41 items that had been denied
access to forex from the interbank forex market, adding
that “people who have been feeding fat on our common
patrimony, manipulating the exchange rate and moving
money across boundaries are the speculators spreading
the campaign for his sack”.
He explained that the country has a new federal
government which won an election on the basis of the
mantra of change and there are all kinds of people who
have made money in this economy without contributing
anything.
“We have a new federal government that has won election
on the basis of change and there are all kinds of people
who have made a lot of money from the economy without
contributing anything by just playing on exchange rates
and commercial papers.
“It is these speculators, because the CBN governor has
been saying we cannot open the doors to all kinds of
imports such as toothpicks, tomato paste and all sorts of
things who have been feeding fat on our common
patrimony, manipulating the exchange rate, moving money
across borders, and taking advantage of electronic money
transfers, that are behind these campaigns,” he said.
Oshiomhole added: “Of course there are some opportunistic
elements, people who feel that if this man goes, I will get
there and they are ready to go to any length to remove
him.
“I think this government is making a point that the hiring
and firing of CBN governors need not be a political
decision, because we should respect institutions; the hiring
and firing is not a decision by Facebook manipulators, and
by the time you unmask the people behind it, you will
discover that they are palm wine drinkers.
“I think the CBN governor is right, he is standing his
grounds and those who are opposed to him are free to
speak, but I know that President Buhari is not going to be
fooled by people who want to see a regime where
government is just an onlooker and allows our naira to
become worthless and for people to make money from
speculation, so those guys are wasting their time.”
Also, the executive committees of a coalition of civil
society groups rose in defence of Emefiele and condemned
the threat of a protest by “a shadowy, bogus and
unscrupulous group parading itself as a civil society
organisation”.
The civil society groups stated that the central bank
governor was being persecuted for the policies on the
implementation of the Bank Verification Number (BVN),
restriction on foreign exchange allocation, reform of the
bureau de change sub-sector, and refusal by the central
bank to devalue the naira.
The groups also stated that the “phony” group threatening
to hold a protest against Emefiele was not a civil society
organisation and was therefore not recognised by the
coalition of civil society groups in Nigeria.
In a statement yesterday, the coalition insisted that
regardless of how this phony group tries to mask itself as
a civil society organisation, an independent investigation
had revealed that it was in fact a political organisation of
paid agents and sponsored groups representing the
interest of a certain geopolitical zone in the country.
The coalition revealed that the promoters of this group are
persons who are known to be troublesome and have the
capacity to disrupt the public peace.
The groups said they fully appreciate the difficulties and
anxieties of many Nigerians given the present tough
economic environment, but maintained that the situation
was not caused by one man or one institution and
considered it unfair for anyone or group to try to put the
blame on only one person or organisation.
According to the coalition, relative to its peers, the
Nigerian economy was not performing that badly.
“Among commodity-exporting economies, for instance,
inflation, GDP growth and employment are far worse in
countries like Zambia, Ghana, and Argentina with inflation
rates of between 19-28 per cent. As a matter of fact, Brazil
and Russia are in recession, while South Africa is
struggling to record positive growth.
“These are all linked to the fall in commodity prices in the
international market. Emefiele and the CBN have so far
managed to keep inflation far below what has been
recorded in many comparator countries,” the coalition said.
It insisted that the policies of the Emefiele-led CBN are
aimed at protecting ordinary Nigerians from the
destructive capitalistic instincts of a few speculators.
“Emefiele’s policies have truncated the rent-seeking
ability of many of these economic parasites and
saboteurs. And we believe it is for this singular reason that
both Emefiele and the CBN are being vilified in the most
unfair and disgraceful manner by a sponsored group of
anarchists.
“Nigerians have been taken for a ride for too long. Our
collective patrimony has been cornered by a few looters for
too long. We can no longer stand idly by and watch these
thieves, in collaboration with foreign neo-colonialists and
imperialists, keep the masses of our people under
perpetual bondage. This is the time to free Nigeria and its
people from the dirty hands and greedy mouths of a few,”
the civil society groups added.
They stated that Emefiele’s detractors are aggrieved by
his implementation of the BVN, which ensures that those
who have looted the country’s resources and concealed
them under various account names are detected.
“Given their inability to hide their identities these thieves
have vowed to hound Emefiele for daring to destroy their
criminal activities. May God never allow them to succeed,”
the groups said.
They also noted that the list of 41 items not eligible for
forex at the CBN did not go down well with Emefiele’s
detractors, as the elite and business moguls had been
depleting the country’s forex reserves by aggressively
importing goods, which could be easily produced in Nigeria.
“By their action, these profiteers have killed jobs in Nigeria
and created jobs abroad. They have exported prosperity
abroad and imported poverty into their fatherland. But as
long as their huge profit margins are guaranteed, they do
not care. What Emefiele and his team have done is to say
that we can no longer import unemployment and export
wealth out of Nigeria,” the groups explained.
The coalition also noted that Emefiele was being
persecuted because of the reform of the BDC sub-sector
that is being undertaken to ensure that genuine business
people engage in the business and not serve as fronts for
those who continuously loot the national treasury.
“Indeed these looters and their sponsors have used all
sorts of guises to register several BDCs with which they
drain foreign exchange from the CBN and use such to
transfer their loot abroad. It is only in Nigeria that BDCs
expect government (CBN) to give them foreign exchange
before they do business,” they added.
» Queen’s College Sex Scandal: Police Interrogates Teacher For 13 Hours «
DETECTIVES at the Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja
have interrogated the Queen’s College, Yaba, teacher, Mr.
Olaseni Osifala, alleged of harassing a JSS2 female student
in the night.
Police source told our correspondent that the teacher was
quizzed for over 13 hours from Tuesday evening to early
morning of yesterday. The detectives told Mr. Osifala of
the source of the petition.
As at the time of filling this report, Mr. Osifala was still at
the police command waiting for another round of
interrogation on the issue.
According to the source, during the interrogation, the
detectives told him that there were several groups interest
ed in the case prompting the teacher to ask for the woman
who raised the alarm.
During his interrogation yesterday, the detectives informed
him of the source of the petition, asked him what he knew
about the allegation which he denied and the teacher
demanded to see the woman who raised the alarm of her
daughter being harassed.
On Monday, Mr. Osifala was invited with the Principal, Dr.
Lami Amodu to the police command for questioning and
was with his interrogators till 7.00pm after he had written
a statement.
The Principal, Mrs. Amodu after writing her statement was
asked to go while Mr. Osifala was made to stay behind for
further questioning before being asked to go home around
7pm and was directed to report early the next day.
Detectives asked him to report back on Tuesday morning
which he did, he was released and summoned again in the
afternoon to answer more questions
The allegation took a new twist yesterday as some staff of
the college were invited to write statement and inter
rogated later on what they knew about the harassment.
There is an easy calm in the college following the
revelation that the Old Girls Association of Queen’s Col
lege was behind the predicament of Mr. Osifala. The
association was said to have sent the petition to the po
lice command indicting the teacher.
It was gathered that the woman who accused the teacher
of harassing her daughter at the female hostel , has not
shown up at the police command since Monday.
A source at the college told our correspondent that the
Principal, Mrs. Amodu has been invited by the Federal
Ministry of Education, Abuja, over the issue.
Several calls to her line were not answered but a staff at
the college said the principal left Abuja yesterday for
Lagos after briefing ministry staff of the situation. The
source confirmed a panel had been set up by the ministry.
The Parents – Teachers Association (PTA) of the college
on Monday said no member of the body had brought the
issue to the attention of the PTA and described the woman
as faceless.
SS3 students of the college lead by the Head Girl and
some old students staged a protest on Monday in support
of the embattled teacher and denounced the allegation.
A lawyer, Barrister Tony Ezimah told Daily Sun it would be
difficult for the police to make any headway in the case if
the woman who accused the teacher of harassing her
daughter did not show up.
Ezimah said the police can act on the petition from the old
girls of the college but would require the complaint to
prove the allegation against the teacher.

» "Why My Company Has Been Very Successful" – Dangote Reveals «
Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has stated that the
challenge of electricity was adversely affecting the growth
of the continent’s economy.
Speaking at the Africa CEO forum in Abidjan, the President
of Dangote group also disclosed what has made his
conglomerate successful.
“Where I come from, which is Kano in Nigeria, we have over
20 million people and we are sharing 35 megawatts only,”
Dangote said.
“So when we started business as a group, we said that we
would not go into the national grid. Every single country
that we are operating in, we would create, generate our
own power and that is why we have been very, very
successful.”
In his remark, President of the African Development Bank,
Akinwumi Adesina, said Africa must seek ways to light up
the continent.
“If you walk in the dark, you’ll stumble and you will fall.
But if you walk in the light, you will constantly see thing
ahead of you,” he said.
“The problem is, in Africa, you have today 645 million
people without electricity. You have the GDP in which the
cost of not having electricity is about four to five percent
shaved off.
“We cannot be competitive when it comes to value adding.
We cannot industrialise because we have no electricity.
The kids cannot go to school because we have no
electricity.
“Vaccines can’t be in hospitals because we have no
electricity, and business are operating at very high cost,
using diesel. In other words, what is the emergency power
supply system has become the normal power supply
system – no way!
“And as Africa Development Bank, I know that the very
blood of Africa’s transmission and life is what we do.”
Nigeria’s electricity generation currently fluctuates around
4,000MW, a meagre capacity for a country of over
170million.
» "I Won't Come To Court, Unless You Abduct Me" - Dasuki «
Embattled former National Security Adviser (NSA) Col.
Sambo Dasuki again refused to appear in court for his trial
on Wednesday.
His absence, however, stalled his trial at a Federal Capital
Territory (FCT) High Court in Abuja.
Sambo, Director of Finance, and Aminu Baba-Kusa, a
former Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)
Executive Director, are also currently faces charges for
reportedly diverting of N13.6 billion meant for purchase of
arms.
At yesterday’s hearing, prosecuting counsel Rotimi Jacobs
(SAN) said Dauski refused to come to the court because
his lead counsel would be absent.
Jacobs said he persuaded him to come but he said “unless
you abduct me, I am not coming’’.
Citing Sections 267(2) of the Administration of Criminal
Justice Act, he said it was a deliberate effort made by the
first defendant and his counsel not to appear in court.
However, Mr Wale Balogun, holding brief for Mr Joseph
Dauda (SAN), told the court that it was the duty of the
prosecution to produce the first defendant in court.
He said the prosecuting counsel did not produce affidavit
evidence before the court as for why he could not produce
the first defendant.
Olakayode Dada, Mr Solomon Umoh (SAN), Dr Abiodun
Layoun (SAN) and Mr Olajide Ayodele, counsel for second
to fifth defendants, aligned themselves with Balogun’s
submission.
Justice Husseni Baba-Yusuf adjourned till April 6 for
continuation of hearing.

Adam Johnson given six years in prison for sexual activity with a child
Former England footballer Adam Johnson has been
sentenced to six years in prison after he was found guilty
of sexual activity with a 15-year-old fan and grooming the
teenager.
Johnson, 28, admitted kissing the girl in his car in County
Durham on Jan, 30 last year and grooming her with
hundreds of social media messages, but was found not
guilty of a third charge of sexual activity with a child,
relating to the same girl.
Judge Jonathan Rose, in sentencing Johnson, said: "This
will be your first prison sentence, this is all entirely your
fault. There is an abuse of trust, you are trusted by young
fans to behave properly."
The judge said the victim had been a Sunderland fan who
would wait after matches to take pictures of her "favourite
player,'' Johnson, who had known her age.
He said: "That was known to you -- to put it another way
she had only just turned 15 when you began grooming
her, because as you were to admit you found her sexually
attractive. You made a deliberate decision to engage in
sexual activity with this young girl, no doubt in the
expectation that you would get away with it.''
Judge Rose told him that he had "every opportunity'' to
enter guilty pleas to the charges he finally admitted.
After the former Sunderland winger was found guilty of a
more serious charge of sexual activity with the teenager,
the judge had told him he should expect to receive a
substantial prison sentence.
The jury had heard how Johnson, who played for England
12 times, began exchanging hundreds of messages with
the girl on social media at New Year 2015. He eventually
agreed to meet her to sign football shirts but it was
during a second meeting, after he inquired about a "thank
you kiss," that the sexual activity happened.
Sunderland terminated Johnson's contract on Feb. 11,
shortly after his guilty plea on two charges was entered.
After the verdict was returned, they issued a statement
denying they had known that he would change his plea
from not guilty.
Information from the Press Association was used in this
report.

» "We Will Fix Power Supply Problems In 3 Years" - Buhari «
President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his
administration's commitment to providing a lasting
solution to the age-long power supply problems in in the
country within the next three years, Guardian reports.
Speaking at the National Economic Council retreat on the
economy held at the State House Conference Centre,
Presidential Villa, Abuja, Monday, March 21, 2016, the
President admitted that the privatisation of the power
sector has not changed anything in terms of performance.
“Nigerians’ favourite talking point and butt of jokes is the
power situation in our country. But, ladies and gentlemen,
it is no longer a laughing matter. We must and by the
grace of God we will put things right,” Buhari said
He said his government would end power shortages which
has become a monster of sort, as previous administrations
have been unable to successfully surmount it.
As listed by the President, some of the problems of the
sector includes, constant power cuts destroying economic
activity and affecting quality of life; high electricity bills
despite power cuts and low supply of gas to power plants
due to vandalization by terrorists.
Others are obsolete power distribution equipment such as
transformers; power fluctuations, which damage
manufacturing equipment and household appliances and
low voltage which cannot run an industrial machine.
Buhari also highlighted solutions to the problems - he said
the government will fast-track completion of pipelines from
gas points to power stations and provide more security to
protect gas and oil pipelines; adding that the power
companies will be encouraged to replace obsolete
equipment and improve the quality of service and
technicians.
He however charged the National Electricity Regulatory
Commission (NERC) to ensure consumers get value for
money and overall public interest is safeguarded.
The National Economic Council Retreat. which ends on
Tuesday, March 22, is aimed at generating immediate,
medium and long-term viable policy solutions to the
economic challenges facing the country.

Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu and
crack detectives from the anti-graft agency, yesterday,

» Rapists Strangle UTME Candidate In Ogun, Dump Corpse Inside Bush (Photo ) «
Parents of 20-year-old Joan Egemba, have been thrown
into mourning after their daughter was stabbed and
strangled by some suspected rapists in the Ijebu Igbo area
of Ogun State.
Joan, who bagged a National Diploma in Accountancy from
the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, enrolled for the
2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the deceased left her home in the
Odo Eran, Sango-Ota area around 12pm on Thursday, March
3, for the National Open University of Nigeria centre in Awa
Ijebu, where she was posted to sit for the exam the
following day.
It was learnt that on Thursday evening, she was abducted
at the Ijebu Oru Junction – a few distance away from the
centre – by persons suspected to be rapists.
Her corpse was said to be found in a bush at the back of a
secondary school in Ijebu Igbo with cuts in her thighs.
Our correspondent was told that the briefs that Egemba
wore were torn, suggesting that her assailants were
rapists.
Her father, Emmanuel Egemba, said she had called him on
the telephone on getting to the centre, informing him that
the security guard attached to the centre turned down her
request to pass the night on the premises.
He said, “On that Thursday, she left home around 12.30pm,
but the bus she boarded at Sango to the centre left around
2pm. She called at 5.30pm that she had arrived there, but
the security man at the centre did not open the gate for
her and others to pass the night on the premises. I told her
to find a place in the area till the following day when she
would sit for the exam.
“Around 7pm, I called her again and she said the security
man had opened the gate for them. One hour after, I called
again but she did not pick her calls. She was supposed to
sit for the exam at 6.30am on Friday. I called her around
12pm on Friday, her phone was switched off. As early as
4am on Saturday, I went to the centre to verify whether
she sat for the exam or not. I met the security man and he
directed me to the JAMB office in Abeokuta. He denied
that he allowed my daughter into the school compound to
pass the night.
“It was a woman that told us that a girl was kidnapped at
Oru Junction and taken towards Ijebu Igbo. We later
discovered her corpse on Wednesday, March 9. If the
candidates were allowed to sleep inside the school, this
incident would not have happened.”
Emmanuel, a retired Assistant Superintendent of Nigerian
Customs, said the loss of his daughter was hard to bear,
but the family had taken solace in God.
“I learnt it was rapists that killed her. Her body was not
mutilated, but she had cuts in the mouth and thighs. Her
clothes and briefs were torn and she had bruises in the
back.
“We prayed before she left home on that day. While we
were praying this morning (Monday) I looked at where she
used to sit and it was vacant,” he said.
He stated that the deceased’s mother, Mrs. Chimemo
Egemba, was too distraught and could not speak
withPUNCH Metro.
A neigbour, who identified himself only as Wale, said the
Divisional Police Officer in Awa Ijebu did not act promptly
when the case was reported and called for comprehensive
investigation to unravel Joan’s killers.
He said, “I followed Emmanuel to the police station on
Wednesday, four days after he reported the case, and I
asked the DPO if he had visited the school. He said no. He
should have gone to the centre instantly to investigate. He
is not fit to be a policeman.
“It was at a building beside the NOUN centre that we got
the information that the girl was abducted. We traced her
to Ijebu Igbo with her picture. At a motor park there, we
showed the picture to a man who told us her corpse was
dumped in a bush at the back of a school.
“I think she struggled with her abductors while they
attempted To Molest her. I think they strangled her when
they did not succeed in raping her. We want those that
perpetrate this act to be fished out and brought to book.”
Wale said a police officer at the Ijebu Igbo division told
him that they were overwhelmed by the spate of crime in
the community, adding that many policemen had
influenced their transfers from Ijebu Igbo to other stations.
The Ogun State Police spokesperson, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi,

suspects.

The blasts come four days after the capture in Brussels of
Salah Abdeslam, the main suspect in the Paris attacks in

» Okonjo-Iweala Reveals The "Best Way To Fight Corruption" «
Former Minister of Finance and coordinating Minister of the
Economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has said corruption should
be fought using technology and other institutions.
Speaking at the Africa CEO forum yesterday, the former
Minister, said those involved in corruption should be made
to pay for their actions.
“We have to fight corruption in two ways; one is by
punishing those who steal, and making sure they pay for
what they do.
“But we also must plug all the holes by building
institutions and systems that prevent corruption in the
first place.
“If you have a financial system for running your financial
accounts that is not computerised, that is not
technologically based, you are still transferring cash, as we
were doing in my country up until 2003, 2004, then you are
opening up the place to a lot of leakages,” she said.

» "Osun Will Pay Salaries"- Aregbesola «
The Government of Osun on Sunday described as uncalled
for insinuations that the state would not pay salaries of its
workers in March as a result of the N6million federal
allocation that accrued to it for the month of February.
The Government assured its workers that just as the Rauf
Aregbesola administration had weathered the storm to pay
salaries up to December, the government is executing with
the support of all stakeholders, including the workers, a
well-mapped out strategy for ensuring that workers are
not made to pay more price for the dwindling allocation
than they have done.
A statement by the Bureau of Communication and Strategy
in the Office of the Governor, which was signed by its
Director, Semiu Okanlawon, explained that the considerably
reduced FAAC allocation is no more news to the state.
The state received less than N150 million from October till
date, due the the repayment obligations for the
Infrastructure Programs it has been prosecuting. In spite of
the heavy obligations, Osun has paid more than N5billion
in salaries between the same period.
» Photographer Sues 2Face And His Wife For N120m «
A photographer, Mr. Emmanuel Okolo, has filed a N120m
copyright infringement suit against musician Innocent
Idibia, popularly known as 2face, and wife, Annie.
The photographer sued the couple and one Mr. Anthonio
Anifite before Justice Mohammed Idris of a Federal High
Court in Lagos.
He alleged that the defendants made use of some
photographs he took at the traditional wedding of Mr. and
Mrs. Idibia in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State in 2013 without duly
attributing the works to him or acknowledging him
contrary to an alleged agreement.
The photographer, who sued alongside his company,
Papilonmexy Films Studios Limited, claimed that the
defendants wrote ‘2faceonline.com’ across 148 out of the
355 high-resolution photographs he took at the couple’s
wedding and uploaded them on 2face’s official website,
thereby denying him credit and referral opportunities.
He claimed that days after the wedding, Annie called him
on the telephone requesting copies of the wedding
photographs and that upon sending them to her, Annie
complained about the watermark of Papilomenxy studios
reflecting on them.
According to the photographer, Annie later sent the 2nd
defendant to negotiate with the photographer on the terms
that the photographs should be released without
watermarks.
The photographer claimed to have then released 355 high-
resolution photographs from the wedding to Anifite free of
charge on the agreement that whenever and wherever they
were used, the copyright would be credited to his company.
He, however, claimed that the defendants breached the
terms of the signed agreement and went ahead to write
‘2faceonline.com’ across 148 of the photographs that they
uploaded on 2face’s official website.
The photographer, who described himself as “a certified
film maker from the prestigious London Film Academy” and
a holder of a Masters of Arts degree from Cardiff School of
Creative and Cultural Industries, South Wales, United
Kingdom, claimed to have suffered general and exemplary
damages for which he is seeking N120m compensation
from 2face, Annie and Anifite.
‘Premeditated Plan To Blackmail’
But the defendants have not only urged Justice Idris to
dismiss the photographer’s suit but they also filed a
counterclaim wherein they demanded N150m damages
from him and his studio.
They claimed that the photographer crashed into the venue
of their traditional wedding, took pictures and circulated
same for commercial gains without their permission.
They claimed that he was not invited but was just “one of
the numerous photographers and pseudo-professionals and
artisans, who invaded the venue of the ceremonies to eke
out a living for themselves without prior consultation with
or the consent of the celebrants.”
They claimed that soon after their wedding, they noticed
some strange versions of their wedding pictures
circulating online with Papilonmexy studio watermark and
after painstaking findings, they traced them to the
photographer.
They claimed that upon locating the photographer and
expressing their displeasure, he pleaded with them while
lamenting that he was hard hit by a downturn in the still
photography business and sought any future engagement
with them.
They claimed that the photographer forced the photographs
on them, saying he wanted to leverage on their popularity
to get referrals.
They, however, claimed that they told him categorically
that the only condition on which they could accept the
photographs was for him to remove the watermarks of his
company, which he allegedly agreed to.”
They, however, said they were shocked when after
uploading the photographs, the photographer wrote a pre-
litigation letter to them demanding that his watermarks be
boldly inscribed across the photographs and a letter of
apology.
But they claimed to have immediately pulled down the
photographs because having Papilonmexy watermarks on
some pictures on 2face’s official website would distort the
original idea of the website.
They accused the photographer of having a premeditated
plan to blackmail and extort money from them.
“The second plaintiff (Okolo), through his several guile,
deceit, cunning gate-crashing and opportunistic posturing
carefully planned and orchestrated the entire events
leading to the institution of this suit with the express
intention of embarrassing, harassing and blackmailing the
first and third defendants (Annie and 2face) with a view to
extorting money from them,” the further claimed in their
counter-claim.
They, however, urged the judge to order Okolo and his
studio to pull down all the photographs of them that the
photographer had circulated.
They are also praying the court to order Okolo and his
studio to “render forthwith, account as well as make full
and frank disclosure of all sums and profit made by them
as a result of unauthorised commercial usage” of their
photographs.
They are demanding 150 million Naira damages and an
order of perpetual injunction restraining Okolo and his
studio from further commercialising their photographs
» 17-Year-Old Girl Sells Her Baby For N500,000 «
The Ondo State Command of the Nigerian Police at the
weekend revealed how a 17 year-old girl, Miss Tessy
Obianua, allegedly sold her baby girl N500,000 to a couple
in Onitsha, Anambra state.
The Police say Tessy fell victim of a specialized child
trafficker, Mrs. Chibuzor Okoye, who convinced her to sell
the baby to Mr. And Mrs. Sunday Kalu, who were
desperately looking for a baby.
While parading the suspects, the new State Commissioner
for Police, Mrs. Hilda Ibifuro-Harrison said five persons
were involved in the case.
She said the police got a tip on matter when Tessy’s
father, Mr. Henry Obianu, who lives at Ogbese in Akure
North local government area of the state reported that her
daughter was missing with her pregnancy to the police.
According to her father, Tessy ran away with her
pregnancy in January last year but later re-appeared in
May without the baby or pregnancy.
After more pressure about the whereabout of the baby from
Tessy, she was said to have confessed to one of her
uncles that she sold the baby to a couple in Onitsha.
The Police investigation also revealed that Tessy was
lured to Onitsha by her father’s neighbour in Ogbese,
simply identified as Mr. Jude Azuka.
It was learnt that at a time, Tessy was declared missing
at home, she was taking to Onitsha by Azuka to Okoye’s
house who helped her to nurse her pregnancy until she
delivered.
The Police boss said “through investigation to Onisha, the
police arrested Okoye, at No. 3, Tonny Olisa street Awada
in Onitsha, who specialized in child trafficking.
“It was Okoye, who sold the said baby girl to the couple at
No. 8, Uzogwu street Onitsha at the sum of N500,000.
“She claimed to have given Jude the sum of N200,000 out
of which Jude claimed to have bought clothes and shoes
to Tessy and also gave her N30,000.
“Mrs. Chibuzor thereafter forced Tessy, to sign an
undertaking that she would never come back for the baby”.
Ibifuro-Harrison, however, urged parents to be wary of the
antics of criminal elements, who act friendly around their
wards.
Photos : Pennsylvania Couple Who Starved Baby Daughter To Death Arrested
A Pennsylvania couple who brought their unconscious 23-
month-old daughter to the hospital in February claiming
she was sick were charged with murder on Thursday after
an autopsy revealed the toddler allegedly starved to death,
PEOPLE confirms.
According to the criminal complaint obtained by PEOPLE,
when parents Andrea Dusha and Michael Wright brought
their daughter, Lydia Wright, to the hospital, they allegedly
told doctors Lydia had been drinking “a mixture of water,
Gatorade and pedialyte from a sippie cup” when her eyes
“rolled into the back of her head, foam began to emit from
[her] nose and mouth, and [she] quit breathing.”
Doctors attempted to revive Lydia but were unsuccessful.
An autopsy conducted the following day determined the
cause of death was homicide as a result of malnutrition
and dehydration, the complaint states. The medical
examiner reported that Wright weighed 10 pounds; the
average toddler weighs between 20 and 25 pounds,
according to authorities.
During their investigation, police searched the home of
Dusha and Wright and allegedly discovered “deplorable
conditions.” Rooms were allegedly cluttered with objects,
making it hard to walk through, and there was allegedly no
running water or sewage system.
According to the complaint, the family allegedly urinated in
empty soda and juice bottles and disposed garbage in
plastic bags kept on the floor. Police allegedly discovered a
high chair covered in excrement and a grocery bag filled
with used tampons, the complaint states.
The condition of the home was allegedly “unsuitable for
children to be living in,” the complaint states.
The couple’s two other young children are currently with
child protective services, Fayette County
District Attorney Richard Bower tells PEOPLE.
Dusha and Wright have not yet entered a plea.
Seun Egbegbe: I Did Everything To Satisfy Toyin Aimakhu , I’ m Sad She Eventually Disgraced Me
Seun Egbegbe: I Did Everything To Satisfy Toyin Aimakhu,
I’m Sad She Has Eventually Disgraced Me
Ebony TV boss, Seun Egbegbe has finally revealed why she
kidnapped Toyin Aimakhu from a movie set in Ibadan
recently.
Why defending his action, Seun Egbegbe told Daily Post
that Toyin was his live-in girlfriend at the time he
allegedly abducted her from a production set.
In his words:
“On the fateful day I left TOYIN AIMAKHU at home where
we both live and went for a meeting, she left for a location
and hours later my phone started ringing and people
started saying the “prostitute you put at home is crying on
instagram over another man”.
I called Toyin immediately and I said what is this I am
hearing and that even if you are going to do anything why
didn’t you tell me your boyfriend so i can know what to
them?
I expected TOYIN AIMAKHU to remove it but hours later it
was there and I had to rush to the location where I seized
her phones but I left my range rover which I had been
allowing her to drive to shore up her image as a Nollywood
star with her though.”
A few hours later I saw about 10 missed calls and I called
back it was one Taiwo Adepekan she is an upcoming
actress who said that she was coming with Toyin to beg
me and I said she should finish her job because what do I
want to do with the phone anyway,it was because of the
love I have for Toyin that made me take her phones Cos I
thought she was making a fool of her self and was also
being unfair to our relationship. I would have dropped her
phone eventually cos when I took her phone she still had
my range rover anyway.
Hours later,I started getting calls again that Toyin has
been kidnapped and they alleged that I was the one that
kidnapped her and I was shocked beyond words. I then got
a call from Taiwo again saying Toyin had gone to report to
a woman in Alausa and she was angry with Toyin that why
are you doing this, he took just your phone while you still
had his range rover so why are you doing this?
I am shocked toyin behaved this way, when we started
dating I had 2 cars a range sports and Honda crosstour
which was stolen, I gave Toyin the range while I took cabs
around town spending an average of 10,000 daily and I gave
her the best to make her happy and I don’t know why she
will repay my love, kindness and all with all this
defamation of character and destruction of my name?– he
concluded bitterly.
Last month, Toyin Aimakhu broke up with Egbegbe and
apologised to fans for moving on too quickly after her
marriage crashed.

» Lover Sets His Girlfriend On Fire In Ibadan (Pictured ) «
A 28-year-old Togolese, Isah Lamin, who was badly burnt
after she was doused with petrol by her boyfriend, Bakare
Kabiru, during an argument, has died in the hospital, five
days after the incident occurred at Alakia area of Ibadan,
Oyo state.
A friend of Kabiru, one Ahmed Muyideen also got badly
burnt as he was caught in the fire while trying to pull
Lamin up from where she was pushed by her lover during
the argument.
Crime Reports learnt that the Togolese, a single mother of
two, started dating Kabiru, a tipper driver sometimes in
2015, though the suspect was married and had three
children from a former wife.
The lovers reportedly had a misunderstanding on March 13,
2016 at the Tipper Park at Alakia, prompting Kabiru to ask
Lamin to go to her residence where she rented.
After she left, Kabiru asked Muyideen who is also a driver
to accompany him to a place, only for Muyideen to see
that it was Lamin’s residence when they got there.
Crime Reports further gathered that while going, Muyideen
had noticed a keg of petrol that the suspect held and had
jokingly asked that he should be given the petrol so that he
could pour it in his vehicle’s tank. But Kabiru replied that
the petrol was for his generating set to enable him watch
football.
On arrival at Lamin’s house, a fresh argument broke out
between the lovers, resulting in Kabiru slapping the lady.
The slap prompted Lamin to hold on to Kabiru’s knickers,
while Muyideen made efforts to separate them, castigating
his friend for beating a woman.
Smarting from the treatment meted to her by Kabiru,
Crime Reports learnt that Lamin held on to his knickers
again. The action was said to have earned her a hard
punch from her boyfriend, resulting in her falling down
beside a stove that a co-tenant was cooking on.
As Kabiru’s friend attempted to lift the lady, Kabiru
allegedly splashed a quantity of petrol from the keg he
brought to the house on Lamin, igniting both the lady and
Muyideen.
Muyideen reportedly rushed out, attempting to tear his
burning clothes off while the suspect and sympathisers
rushed to save Lamin by pouring water on her.
Crime Reports learnt that Muyideen and Lamin were
rushed to a nearby private hospital but Lamin was
rejected, with the advice that she should be taken to a
better equipped hospital because of the degree of the
burns she suffered.
Policemen from Egbeda Division were said to have
arrested Kabiru in the hospital premises, while the case
was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation
Department, Iyaganku, Ibadan, for further investigation on
Friday, March 18.
Things however took a different turn when news filtered
into the State CID shortly after the case was received that
Lamin had died.
Muyideen was said to be receiving treatment in the
hospital, though his burns also seemed extensive.
Speaking with Crime Reports on Saturday, Kabiru denied
that he deliberately poured petrol on his girlfriend and,
inadvertently, his friend, saying that the petrol spewed out
when he mistakenly stepped on its container which fell
where he put it during the misunderstanding with his
girlfriend.
Giving an insight to what led to the fight between him and
the deceased, Kabiru said: “Lamin was my girlfriend. We
started a relationship in November 2015. She used to hawk
a local drink, Kunu, around and we met in the process.
“In February, she told me that she would like to get
pregnant for me. I replied her that time was not ripe for
such since our relationship was still young and I had yet to
know her relations. I said I was not ready.
She insisted that that was what she wanted. Because of
this disagreement, she changed towards me and when I
noticed this, I reduced my visit to her place.
“On Saturday, March 12, she came to me at our park and
informed me that she was going to her parents’ place at
Monatan area. She added that she knew I was treating her
shabbily because I had already slept with her and was
satisfied with that only. She said she would not take it
lying low.
On Sunday, March 13, I bought petrol for my generator and
mixed it with engine oil. I was in the motor park when she
passed by me.
She said was just coming from Monatan. She asked why I
greeted her and I asked whether her statement was
because of the argument of the previous day.
When she got home, she called me again and started
raking. She said I should return her battery phone and DVD
with me. It was during this that my friend, Muyideen came
to me. I asked him to follow me to Lamin’s house. I also
carried my keg of petrol with the intention that I would go
home from there. When we got to Lamin’s house, she
started making trouble with me and I slapped her. She held
on to me. I placed the keg I was holding on a bucket.
“An elderly woman tried to intervene but while on it, Lamin
came to hold me again. I pushed her away, unknown to me
that the keg I placed on a bucket fell. My friend went to
help her up and I wanted to storm off in anger. In the
process, I unknowingly stepped on the petrol keg, forcing
the stopper off. And because someone was cooking within
the house, the petrol.”

and the guys wey dey come my way just dey price
anyhow. You no see as you dey price too.
And if I tell you to do quick rest for N3, 000, you will say
no. They want it all through the night,” said one of the
prostitutes, who gave her name as Jessica. She spoke
both pidgin and proper English. According to Sunday
Telegraph’s investigation, the prevailing downturn in the
economy seems to be affecting everything in the country,
including the services of commercial sex workers, who are
currently complaining about bad business. Many of them
were seen loitering without patronage. At the arrival of the
correspondent, at Heavens, a popular night club on 1st
Avenue, Festac, Lagos, about three different ladies came
trying their luck.
One of them, Titi, was literally begging to be taken home
by the correspondent, who priced her far below the normal
prices (between N7,000 and N10, 000) charged on the
axis. She had initially mentioned N15, 000 per night before
the bargaining ensued.
The correspondent had priced her N5,000, which she
eventually accepted and was saying “okay let’s go to your
house, I will do you well, you will enjoy me.” Other ladies
met on the same spot were insisting on N8000 or N10, 000
per night.
“Oga this one wey you dey price like this, you no go fit pay
for all night. E go better if you go for quick rest. Quick rest
na N2500. Let’s leave the full night. I have a place, where I
lodge on 21 Road, let’s go there and enjoy ourselves. I’m
sweet let’s just do quick rest first. Long night is N10, 000
but as you dey price so, you no fit pay for full night. I will
do you well and I will give you my number so that you can
call anytime you need me,” said Stella, another woman of
the night. It was surprising to see Jane, who was
complaining about low or no patronage and the fact that
our correspondent, isolated her for a discussion but didn’t
take her home, prayed that God would give her another
customer. “You know that you don’t want to carry me to
your house and you came here and wasted my time.
If I had stood at that place, somebody else would have
carried me. After now you will go and pray God to bless
your business but you are here spoiling my own business.
Go, let me wait and see if God will give me another
customer this night.” This was emotional outburst of this
young lady, who thought she had caught a big fish for the
night; perhaps, she didn’t see anything wrong with
prostitution rather, what she does to keep body and soul
together.
Similarly, some girls, who go into prostitution, have
different things in mind.
Jane believes that God is aware of her business and
perhaps, prays each night that God will give her a good
customer (sex mate).
What an irony of life. Jane had also insisted that her price
was N10, 000 and nothing less. The reporter was shocked
to the marrow when Jane made this utterance. At Allen
Avenue, Ikeja, at about few minutes after 11pm, another
lady of easy virtue was met and although she started with
N5000 for what she called, “short time,” she later accepted
N2000 for “short time” but refused to go all night for,
conceivably, fear of entering into wrong hands, she didn’t
accept to go to Isolo and as a result, didn’t discuss her
terms and conditions for a sex vigil.
“N2000 is the last price for short-time. Isolo is far, I can’t
go to Isolo. Let me stay here and keep hassling.” In
another development, it was obvious that low patronage
was plaguing them due to the prevalent economic situation
in the country. Yes, according to Tricia, men still come
around because they need women, but they are not willing
to settle for high prices. In Tricia’s eyes, you will find thick
layers of desperation. She appealed: “I will do you well.
If you want, I can do you inside this car. I will s..k you and
after s..king you, I will f..k you. You will enjoy it and then I
will give you my number. If you want all night, I can go for
N4, 000 but if you want quick rest, I can take N2, 000. Let
me come in…”
But despite her desperate moves to be patronised, the
Correspondent turned down her self-invitation into the car.
She was the only person in all, who accepted N4, 000. This
happened between 12pm and 1am. At another location, a
nursing mother prostitute in Aguda, Surulere, one Juliet,
said, the country is tough, and she cannot afford to stay at
home in order that her girl child does not die of hunger.
“I have a child. In the course of my business, I got pregnant
and I didn’t want to abort the baby. It wasn’t easy for me
then but I needed to keep the baby. I used to give her
Chelsea dry gin every night so that she can sleep all
through the night until I come back. Yes, I still get
customers, off course, they don’t know I have a child but
even if they know, they will still patronise me,” she said
confidently. Also, another girl, Shola, who looked between
17 and 21 years old, said her own price was N8, 000, “non
negotiable”.
She refused home service due to a bitter experience she
had, which she didn’t disclose to the correspondent.
However, the correspondent’s curiosity to know why she
was so scared of home service, prompted him to press
her. But she replied: “Never mind.” Dark and tiny-waist
Shola, who claimed to be a student of the University of
Port Harcourt, does not believe in talking, rather, she
allows her waist entice any man.
“I don’t believe in talking, my action will speak for me.” “I
don’t do this always. I only come out when I’m very broke.
Like now, I’m very broke and I need money. Since you said
you just want to make love to me once, please, instead of
keeping me in your house after that, please let me go and
perchance, I can get another customer.
Instead of N8000, you can have me for N5000 and let me
go,” Cross Rivers State’s Cynthia appealed to the
correspondent, thinking she had a customer. On the safety
precautions As safety precautionary measures, some of
the sex workers do not accept to visit a guy at home for
fear of being gang rapped but anyone that is contemplating
doing that will ask a number of questions to the potential
customers, to determine the level of her safety, including:
“Where do you live? Do you live alone?
And what do you do for a living?” are some of the
questions begging for answers from the male clients. In the
same manner, when Sunday Telegraph approached Zika,
one of the sex workers at Apapa, and tried to move away
from the vicinity for fear of running into someone who
knows him, the girl said: “Please don’t drive off, we have
not finished and you have not told me what you want.
Please, just take it easy. I don’t want to go far. You can’t
really say who is who. You don’t trust guys now.” But on
the assurance that she wasn’t going to be hurt, she
calmed down and started responding, though with some
level of scepticism.
Responding to the question, why she was so scared of
going home, she said she had been raped by three guys,
who lived together. “ They claimed that they paid me for
the night and therefore, must continue till the morning.
Yes, I was paid but I didn’t bargain for that and since then I
have always being careful.
You men can be mean,” she concluded.
Also, at Ajegunle and the neighbouring community, Orile,
the prices are quite very low. The reason given, being that
rich men don’t live there, hence, most of their male
customers are bus drivers and conductors; others are
okada riders and few who are not ready to part with
reasonable amount of money. For her, any guy that pays
N1000 will want to die on top that prostitute. “Most of my
co-workers travel as far as Festac and Lagos Island to do
their businesses.
Guys in Ajegunle will like to do free and even do on credit.
But it’s not because they are stingy, it’s they don’t have.
‘The thing dey hungry them but they no fit pay. If you no
stay well, they go rape you,” said Christy.
However, there is another group of sex workers that one
can classify as special prostitutes or celebrity harlots or
student aristos. Their prices are high and they do not stay
on the road with miniskirts or hopping around any man that
comes their way. Though in the prostitution business, they
carry themselves with some degree of respect.
In some cases, they have their names, pictures and phone
numbers in some hotels and they are called upon when
they are needed. They are well dressed and neat. Most of
them are undergraduates, who are short of cash in the
school. They speak good English. Thelma, a student of
Mass Communication, Yabatech, Lagos, is a good,
explanation of such celebrity prostitute.
Sunday Telegraph met her at the front of the popular
Golden Tulip Hotels in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos. She was well
dressed in a skinny jump suit (overalls), who didn’t portray
the business she is into. She sounded reasonable in her
good English diction. She said: “It’s N8,000 or N10, 000 for
the night, else no deal.” The correspondent tried to price
her down but she insisted, even as she was priced N7,000.
Trying to make her understand that things are generally
bad in the country and there is no money, she insisted that
other guys are paying. She appeared not to be grounded
with the business but as a student of Yabatech, as she
claimed, she may have come clubbing and decided to have
a ‘quickie’ for cash.
She spoke good English and appeared mannered that one
wonders what is happening. This is the thinking that
prostitution has been taken to another level, where the
business is not left in the hands of illiterates, living in the
brothels alone. They are upgrading. Among these ‘special
prostitutes’, these are the real risk takers in the business.
This group of girls travel to all parts of the country to visit
their clients, who may even be within the locality of their
targets but claim to be coming from some distance away.
They source phone numbers of their targets through
friends’ facebook as well as other means and call up their
targets. Their discussions with the targets are suggestive
of self invitation. Sometimes, they claim to be one that the
targets know. Sunday Adekule had an encounter with one
of them.
He recounts his experiences: “I had an encounter with one
of them. I don’t know how she got my number and called
me up.
When I got her call, her voice sounded familiar and I
mentioned a name that she assumed to be. And because I
just met the girl, whose name I dropped, I barely discussed
with her to find out she wasn’t the one. “So, in our
discussion, I asked when she will be coming to Lagos and
she quickly said next week and we continued like that. To
my greatest surprise, she came on the appointed day.
When she knocked, I came out and she greeted. I couldn’t
believe what I saw, so I started thinking within me: ‘Have I
met this girl before?’ I was confused. “Certainly, this
cannot be the girl I spoke to at the programme and I asked
her, ‘Where you in that programme,’ but she replied, ‘Are
you scared?’
Of course, I wouldn’t show her that I was scared and I said
scare of who? “Unfortunately, that mental process couldn’t
continue as I got a call from my boss that I should come
back to the office. It was already 7pm and I was thinking,
‘am I going to leave this girl in my house and go to office?’
Eventually, I decided to lock her inside but when I tried to
do that, she caught me and asked, ‘Are you locking me
inside?’ and I said no.
“Alternatively, I called my neighbour and briefed him to put
an eye on my apartment. I wasn’t really comfortable with
it that I had to tell one of my colleagues in the morning,
who charged me to start rushing home, before I meet my
house empty, which I did. By the time I got back, she had
already cooked spaghetti with eggs. The girl was so
relaxed.
“So, I couldn’t take it again that I started asking her
questions and had to carry her back to ensure that what
she told me was her name was actually her true identity. I
saw her bank ID card, so I called my cousin who works
with that bank to confirm the address of the girl. When I
went harsh on her she stated crying saying that I wasn’t
treating her like a lady. She said she was leaving. I felt
bad but did that for my safety. It was getting late and I
told her to wait till morning but she refused. “Then, I asked
her how much she spent coming to Lagos. She said N3500
and I gave her N5000.
Two days later, another girl called me claiming to know
me but the experience of the other girl didn’t allow me to
join her in any conversation. It was later when I told some
guys the story that they made me to understand that such
is how that class of prostitute make their money.
“They will claim to come from distant place without
knowing that they are from your locality. So, when you
give them transport fare to Abuja, they pocket it and go to
wherever they are coming from. They know that after a
night rest with them, you will not be wicked enough to
leave them empty-handed.” In another funny development,
a prostitute along Old Ojo Road, Lagos who saw a well
dressed man, suspected to be having some cash, held him,
saying he slept with her and didn’t pay. She claimed that
her fee was N3,000.
The man was thoroughly embarrassed. While it was
happening, passersby were telling the man to settle the
prostitute and stop disgracing himself but the man kept on
saying that he didn’t know the girl from anywhere. In the
process, the wife of the man who was a fighter came and
saw what was happening and said her husband cannot do
such and asked the prostitute the colour of her husband’s
pants since she claimed that her husband slept with her.
And the prostitute said “white nah” but the woman said
that her husband doesn’t wear pants rather boxers and
started beating her.
It was then that she started begging the woman whicothers
join in beating her. On protection against harm On
protection: “I don’t use charms but I know some people
that use charms to get customers. Some of them put it in
their powder. Once you look at their faces you can’t resist
them again. When they get customers that pay well, they
will also want to have them forever. Also, some will use it
to protect themselves from those ritualists.
The charm will make their spirit alert not to follow wrong
persons. To some, when you want to hurt them you will
end up hurting yourself,” said Ese. According to her, they
use condoms to prevent pregnancy and other sexually
transmitted diseases. “With condom is normal price but
when you want flesh to flesh, you have to pay higher, like
N3,000 instead of N2,000 for short time. You know that
without condom is risky. You can impregnate me or give
me disease. So, the extra money is for me take care of
myself, get contraceptives.
Men like flesh to flesh because it’s sweeter. “I don’t like
home service because some guys will contribute to pay
and when you get home, all of them will take turns to sleep
with you and if you resist them, they will rape and give you
wounds. You might have three guys sleeping with one girl.
It’s not good nah. The something dey pain nah.
Some of them will go and take ‘manpower’ and they will
sleep with you all through the night. And their something
will not get down all through,” she explained.
