Game of Thrones season eight episode two has accidentally leaked before it was due to be broadcast, with some Amazon Prime users managing to get a sneak preview over in Germany.
According to website Winter Is Coming, fans of the HBO show were left stunned when the brand new episode automatically began playing after they’d finished watching premiere installment Winterfell, alerting others to the news on Twitter and Reddit, as well as posting evidence in the form of photos.
‘I’m currently watching episode 2, Amazon Prime in Germany is the source of the leak,’ wrote one, while another added: ‘F*** F*** F*** #GoT 8×2 has been leaked online. I hate hackers. I saw sth I shouldn’t have seen. It ruined me.’
Many fans of the show have begged others not to share spoilers on social media, prompting all of us to switch up our social media settings and make use of our mute buttons.

Spoilers for how the show will come to an end remain firmly under lock and key though, with pretty much just bookies odds on who will survive to go by.
Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have reassured fans that the final season won’t spoil anything coming up in George RR Martin’s books too, telling Entertainment Weekly: ‘The show has become so different [in recent seasons] that people will have no way of knowing from watching what will or won’t appear in the books.
‘And honestly, neither do we.’
