It’s a victory for the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) as a report from Abuja says President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the National New Minimum Wage bill into law.
Sources in the State House confirmed that the president assented to the bill a few hours ago, Daily Trust reported.
Presidential adviser on National Assembly (Senate), Sen Ita Enang is being expected to brief the State House Correspondents on the development.
A few days ago, workers in the Federal Capital Territory had begged President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the minimum wage bill submitted to him by the National Assembly since March 27.
