'Glee' actor Mark Sailing pleads guilty to possession of child pornography

35-year-old Mark Salling who played Noah 'Puck' Puckerman on the hit FOX series 'Glee', has pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography, a federal charge, and could face up to seven years in prison.

Recall that the American actor was arrested in 2015 after police got a tip-off from his ex-girlfriend. When Cops searched his computer they found more than a thousand indecent images of child sexual exploitation and the children found on his computer were said to be less than 16 years old.

He was indicted in May 2016 on two counts of receiving and possessing child pornography,

In a plea agreement filed with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Tuesday, Salling agreed to plead guilty to one federal count of possession of child pornography stemming from an indictment filed last year.

The actor admitted to downloading more than 50,000 images of child pornography and erotica sexualized images of children on his laptop and another 4,000 photos and 160 videos of child pornography on a thumb drive. The content was downloaded from at least April through December 2015, according to the indictment.

Salling also agreed to register as a sex offender permanently and a lifetime of supervision if and when he’s released from federal custody.
