'I rejected $500,000 from Donald Trump's Campaign to Help Appeal to Black Voters in 2016' - 50 Cent

American rapper, 50 Cent claims that he rejected an offer of $500,000 from Donald Trump's team to appear at a campaign event during the 2016 presidential election.

 

In a recent interview with the radio station Hot 97, the rapper said, 'before he got elected, they were having issues with the African American vote. They wanted to pay me $500,000 as part of the campaign to just make an appearance'.

 

He went on to explain why he rejected the alleged proposal: 'I was like, 'Nah, that’s not good money. Nah, I’m not going to do that. That’s not worth it. His presidency is an accident. If you were a president by accident, you might do some of the things Donald Trump is doing'.

Only Nigerians can determine if I'll become president, not PDP - Ayo Fayose

Following the declaration of his intention to run for preident in 2019, Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has said only Nigerians can determine if he will become president and not his party, PDP.

 

In an interview with Channels TV Fayose said,

'let me say to you very expressly that it is not the national working committee of PDP that will determine, it is the people of Nigeria.  May I say to you very clearly that some of the people in the working committee have ambition, they must be threatened by what I’ve done today and I will say to you again if anybody has ambition in the north, let him come straight and tell us'.

 

He continued to say, 'In another one year, parties will be doing primaries, let them come out; this party must not die. If anybody is afraid, I am not.  There are two legs to life some are afraid of incarceration, some are afraid of death, I am not afraid of any. In America, when they want to campaign, they campaign in upward period of two years, they sell themselves; you want to tell us to have a president that will come out three months to the election and come and tell us you want to be president of Nigeria?

Ghanian actor, Chris Attoh whose 2-year-old marriage to actress, Damilola Adegbite crashed has revealed that he never cheated on his wife. 

During a Podcast interview with to Bola Ray on Starr Chat, a female listener who recently got married asked Chris for advice and he said;

Marriage is a beautiful thing and more importantly, Marriage is serious business. It's a partnership, it's not a game of chess and if you look into your bible, you will find out that God said, a man who finds a wife finds a good thing. It also says that man is better off on his own but if you do find a wife, you find a good thing. So it's an addition, you are an addition to that destiny.

I think that we have forgotten what the fundamentals of marriage comes down to. When you love someone, you should be able to forgive, respect, submit and these are the things that are important.

Speaking further, Chris Attoh said that women should learn to trust the husband, who are the captain of the ship if they want peace. He said;

As a woman, you need to trust the captain of the ship. It’s truly important if you want peace in your home and I will always always resound this, it is amazing how many lessons you would find in your bible. If you're a Christian, trust me, it's your bible that will get you through your marriage days.

Bola asked him if overlooks all the advice he is giving in his own marriage and if that was why it crashed, Chris Attoh replied saying  "No one is perfect and I'm not here to talk about my marriage"

Asked if he has any regrets about the crashed marriage Chris Attoh replied no, saying that he has gained a wealth of experience. 

I feel like life is too short for any regrets. everything that happens, happens for a reason. I have a beautiful baby boy, I have a wealth of experience and I have a lot of work to do. There are a lot of youths out there that needs to be guided. He said

Another listener called in saying that he is lying and accused him of cheating on his wife which she alleged led to the crash of the marriage. Chris Attoh denied the allegations saying that he never cheated on his wife. He said;

I can gladly say that I never cheated because I didn't find a reason to. when you keep yourself busy as well, it helps.

Blessing Egbe’s “The Women” is the best movie I have seen in 2017 –PR Guru, Samuel Olatunji

It’s been long a Nollywood drama has been exciting as the movie “The Women”. Blessing Egbe’s new movie “The Women” is refreshingly different, a breath of fresh air from the usual comedy we have been served. Without doubt, it is the best movie I have seen in 2017 and it is encouraging that she chose to be different in a world where sounding the same is the only guarantee of financial success.

I am recommending “The Women” without fear and will encourage many to see it so as to save Nollywood from the wanton craze for slapstick comedy and encourage producers to do exciting movies without putting common sense to sleep all in the name of trying to make people laugh.

I don’t know about Blessing Egbe being the Tyler Perry of Nollywood but one thing that I know is if she continues like this, she will build an exciting name for her brand, herself and even earn more respect from people who matter; audiences and investors.

Congratulations Blessing Egbe, you have a good movie in The Women.

"I come, I came and I concer": lady says as she celebrates after her final exams

Come on! Are these people joking or do they really mean what they write?

A Polytechnic graduate took to Facebook to celebrate after writing her final exams but she made a blunder that has given her post attention.

Sharing a photo of herself and coursemates, she wrote: "I come I came and I concer".

Obviously, she meant "I came, I saw, I conquered". She will not be the first to make such a mistake. Just a month ago, a university graduate while rejoicing after writing his final exams also made a similar blunder. Is this a sign that something is seriously wrong with the education system in Nigeria?

Cancer had f***** my life up" woman with stage 4 breast cancer goes naked to show what the disease has done to her body

A woman who has had both her breasts removed, and also her womb and cervix, as a result of stage 4 breast cancer, has shared a video of what her body now looks like to show how the disease takes a toll on the body.

The woman went nude in the video and told of all she's been through, including having 4 hysterectomies, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and more.

She said: "I have stage 4 breast cancer. Not only have I had both of my breasts amputated, I have had four hysterectomies so I can't have any more kids. I'm done having kids because you know they took all my cervix and everything else out there."

She added: "I have had radiation therapy. I've had chemotherapy.... And I may be having chemo again."

She went on to show her bulging tummy and revealed that people ask if she's pregnant but it's simply the result of having your breasts removed. She said the fat which should have gone to her boobs now settle around her tummy region. 

"Now this is what happens to your body when your breasts get amputated. I had nice-sized boobs. It just so happens I don't have them anymore, so a lot of it is focused on my midsection 'cos I don't have any boobs," she said.

"A lot of people think I'm pregnant but that's not the case. It just became like this ever since I had surgery. I've had surgery so things got looking a little different. They took all my womb out. I don't have a cervix, I don't have any innards right now. Still have a vagina, but I don't have any innards."

She added: "Cancer has fucked my life up."
