Gernot Rohr Signs Contract With NFF To Lead Super Eagles of Nigeria

Gernot Rohr bags 2-year contract to lead Nigeria
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Tuesday gave 63-
year-old Franco-German Gernot Rohr a two-year contract
to lead the country's team.
According to the Twitter https://mobile.twitter.com/thenff/
status/762987710600675328 handle of the NFF, Rohr has
signed a two-year contract as technical adviser of the
Super Eagles.
Officials disclosed he will be presented to the public and
media next week.
At the weekend, the NFF technical committee
recommended to the executive committee that the former
Gabon and Niger coach be appointed after they met with
him in Abuja.
His immediate task will be to qualify Nigeria to the 2018
World Cup after the Eagles failed to qualify for the Africa
Cup of Nations for second straight time.
Nigeria begin their qualifying campaign in Zambia on
October 3.
They are also drawn against Algeria and Cameroon in a
difficult group.
