LIB Exclusive: What really happened between Davido and Ice Prince in Warri - Shina Peller

Over the weekend, social media went buzzing with news of a reported beef between Davido and Ice Prince at the Delta Alive concert organised by Quilox boss, Shina Peller.

While Davido and Ice Prince have declined to comment on the issue, LIB was able to get an exclusive chat with Shina Peller, the event organiser who narrated how it all went down.

According to him, 'Ok here's what really happened, my arrangement for the concert was to have a tour bus, so there was no time when anyone had a saloon car. It was a tour bus which everybody was in including myself, my artistes, Lil Kesh, CDQ and everyone just so we are all together to have fun but  along the line i found out that Davido had some friends in Warri.

Davido was in the same bus with us from the airport to the hotel, he used the same bus from the hotel to Quest FM where we went for an interview before the show. It was at Quest FM his friends came to pick him with a white G-Wagon, I don't even know the owner of the G-Wagon. So he was in his friend's G-Wagon from the radio station to the event venue so it wasn't an issue at all'.

LIB also asked him about the issue of performance hierarchy that we learnt got Ice Prince angry because he performed before Lil Kesh and he said, 'now let me shock you, my artiste 'Base One' even performed after Lil kesh, so there was no superiority or hierarchy involved, I just wanted it to be a random event flow. The event even had two of my waiters at Quilox that sings I got them to perform at the show and we'll still do 3 more of the event before the year runs out'.

He also commented on the issue of both artiste leaving delta State airport in different lounges because of the beef, 'when we were coming back to Lagos, It was Ice Prince that got to be at the VIP lounge, myself, Davido, Lil Kesh and others where outside in a shed with just a standing fan. really it's all one family everything is resolved now. The only thing that got Davido upset is the fact that he felt Ice Prince was being disrespectful to me not even to him because even Davido didn't complain about any of the logistics issue it was Ice Prince that complained a little that's all'.

#bbnaija: Now I Understand Why Bisola Has Remained A Single Mother

A Nigerian Journalist, Chris Ayo Joseph has taken to his Instagram page to pen down a post on why Bisola has remained a single mother for long.

Chris who reacted to the video clip which showed Bisola in a heated argument with Debbie Rise wrote: "Guys can we talk? Please if you're still single, do watch out for this kind of woman.

Watching this video, I now understand why Bisola has remained a single mother. She's too hot-tempered, uses vulgar words too often and NO man in his right senses will want to live with a woman with such aggressive attitude. Psalm 21:19. .

And I've noticed she speaks better English when she's angry. That's her real person showing right there.

Now, I agree she's a bully. Guy, remove that thought from your mind that she's going to change. That's the problem. Yes, she might be talented, but when you begin dating someone like Bisola and your objective is to change her just know that you're with the wrong person.

Many atimes we enter relationships thinking we can change people. Forgetting the fact that, we have to understand who we are with first of all. Pay Attention

Many of you might not agree with me, but it's just My opinion! Ok, bye."

Guys what do you think about this?

Fulani Herdsmen Kill 10 In Cross River

At least 10 people have allegedly been killed in by Fulani herdsmen Obio Usiere in Eniong Abatim, Odukapni local government area of Cross River State.

The Village Head the Obio Usiere, Apostle Iya Effiong Orok, on Saturday told reporters that although it was earlier reported that two members of the community were killed last week in an attack by the herdsmen, they had discovered that eight more persons were killed.

According to him, the two people earlier reported were just people whose bodies were recovered immediately as at the time of the first attack.

His words, “We have lost nothing less than 10 people in this attack by Fulani herdsmen. They normally come during the dry season to feed their cattle in our area, the same incident occurred two years ago when two people were shot dead, now its 10 people”

“As I speak with you, Obio Usiere has been deserted. Our women are afraid to go their farms because they rape them in the bush and no one can help them. These people are heavily armed and we are just helpless.

“We have reported to both Police, DSS and other security agencies and we are using this opportunity to call on Governor Ben Ayade to help us because about 3, 500 people are now homeless, we have become refugees in our own land”

“It’s about a week this incident took place. It is true that some police men were sent here but the shortfall in logistics is a big challenge. We are afraid to go back to our ancestral home because we know what is happening in Enugu, Delta, Benue and we don’t like shedding blood on our land, it is a taboo for an Efik man to take up arms.”

Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Irene Ugbo, confirmed the attack, but said only one person was killed.

She said policemen have been been drafted to the area and normalcy has been restored.

“Our men are on ground 24 hours and we are not aware of any other killing. The rise in the death toll has not been reported to us as I speak with you, and we are not leaving the place,” she said.

Philip Emeagwali Among The Top 10 Most Intelligent People In The World With 190

Philip Emeagwali has been listed as amongst the top 10 most intelligent people in the world, having the acclaimed IQ of 190.

Philip Emeagwali, of course, is a renowed and world-acclaimed engineer, mathematician, computer scientist and geologist who was one of two winners of the 1989 Gordon Bell Prize, a prize from the IEEE, for his use of a Connection Machine supercomputer to help detect petroleum fields.

He has the 9th slot directly below Marilyn vos Savant, 8th with verified IQ of 190 and directly above 10th placed Garry Kasparov who is alleged to have an IQ of 190.

The Igbo-born Nigerian is credited for inventing a formula that allows supercomputers powered by thousands of processors to perform billions of calculations per second, a discovery that made international headlines and inspired the reinvention of supercomputers.

The supercomputer comprises of thousands of networked computers and the Internet also comprises of millions of networked computers. The supercomputer spawned the Internet.

Emeagwali’s 1970s hypothesis on 64,000 networked computers around the Earth led to his programming of 64,000 processors inside a big box to perform 3.1 billion calculations per second, a world record in 1989. For the latter achievement, he won the 1989 Gordon Bell Prize, which is the “Nobel prize of supercomputing.”

Stephanie Otobo's Mother's House & Shop (Photos)

PREMIUM TIMES’ Festus Owete and Idris Ibrahim travelled to Sapele, Delta State, to speak with the mother of Canadian-based Nigerian woman, Stephanie Otobo, who accused the pastor of the Omega Fire Ministry, Auchi, Johnson Suleman, popularly called Apostle Suleman, of having amorous relationship with her.

For two days, attempts by our reporters to trace the mother, Bukky, to her home were unsuccessful. When finally located, it would take hours to convince her to speak with this newspaper.

Bukky explained why she apologised to Mr. Suleman, the formative years of her daughter, the allegation her daughter had marital introduction with Mr. Suleman, and other issues.

PT: You travelled to Auchi to attend a church service where you also apologised to Apostle Johnson Suleman. What prompted you to do that?

Bukky: I did that because of my daughter, (and) because I am a mother. The way I am seeing her is not the way I brought her up. And all those her character is not giving me happiness which I want to put an end to. That is why I went to Auchi.

PT: Did anybody threaten to arrest or kill you before you went there?

Bukky: No, nobody threatened me. It is because I am a mother. When I saw what was going on, the day you people came to the market I said I wanted to go and meet the man of God to apologise so that we can put an end to the matter. Because I know my daughter. I did not bring her up this way and the way she is behaving is not normal. So, I said I want to go and beg the man of God to forgive her so that this matter can die off. Because I cannot continue with this (and) the way I am seeing it, I don’t want anything of such to happen again. Nobody threatened to kill me or prompted me to do so. I went there on my own to apologise to man of God.

PT: I am asking because shortly after that church service, your daughter said on Instagram that you were threatened to go to Auchi.

Bukky: No, I was not threatened. I am a mother. I cannot continue to see her in that manner. She has been saying all sort of things. We are not happy and that is why I went to apologise. I went there alone; nobody threatened me.

PT: That implies that your daughter lied?

Bukky: Yes, because what she is saying is not true.

PT: How old is your daughter?

Bukky: I don’t want to answer that.

PT: Don’t you think your daughter is old enough to take responsibility for her actions?

Bukky: What I am still saying is that they should pardon her and the matter should just go down like that. They should forgive this matter because they’ve been manipulating her because this is not her real self. She was not behaving like this before. It seems all those lawyers are manipulating her, using her to say all this rubbish and bringing all this things out. So I begged that this matter should die down now because this is not my real daughter. I believe somebody must have been manipulating her. All those lawyers (and) all those her friends are using her. This is not the way I brought her up because I brought many children up. They are not behaving like this. Somebody is brainwashing her, polluting her mind and that is what is making her to do all this things that she is doing now.

PT: You are accusing a lawyer for doing that?

Bukky: Yes, all those lawyers are using her to get their own names. They should leave my daughter alone. They should leave my daughter out of this matter. I am still talking about all those lawyers, they should leave my daughter alone.

PT: Can you mention names?

Bukky: I don’t know them but I believe that all those lawyers supporting her are using her. I am begging the government that they should leave my daughter alone. They should release my daughter from what they are doing to her.

PT: Do you know the lawyer they call Festus Keyamo or any lawyer from his chamber?

Bukky: I don’t know him and any lawyer from his chamber though they call me but I don’t know them.

PT: When the lawyers called you, what were they telling you?

Bukky: They asked me whether they came to arrest me or they forced me to say all those things when they came to my market. They also asked whether I was tortured. They came and said they want to ask me about my daughter, (but) I told them that I want to go and beg the man of God myself to die down the matter. That is what every mother will do. I don’t want to see my daughter destroyed. That is why I am saying that all those lawyers should leave my daughter and bring her out of this matter.

PT: You said you were going to beg the man of God, what were you afraid of?

Bukky: Well, we begged the man of God that he should forgive my daughter. You know when you call somebody a man of God, he can go to any length. So I don’t want the man of God to go to any length, to do any evil prayer because when we heard of it that time, this pastors’ association (South-South chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria) praying all their sorts of things. I cannot sit down here watching my daughter like that. That is why I said I want to go to the source to beg that man. Nobody tortured me. I went alone. I entered vehicle from Sapele to Auchi.

PT: So, was it the first time you went to Auchi?

Bukky: No, I have been to Auchi before.

PT: She (Stephanie) said Apostle Suleman held marriage discussions in the pastor’s office. Is it true?

Bukky: No, it is not true, nothing like marriage, I did not go there for marriage. No woman goes to collect dowry. That one na abomination.

PT: Did she ever tell you that she was pregnant?

Bukky: No, she never told me.

PT: Did she ever tell you that she was stooling blood for a year?

Bukky: No.

PT: So, when you heard about all these things, what was your first reaction as a mother?

Bukky: I really want to see that they bring my daughter back to me. I wanted her to come back to me that moment. I did not see her and that was why I said I was looking forward to seeing the man of God so that I can beg the man of God to forgive her (and) to cancel all this matter.

PT: Have you made any attempt to reach her so that you discuss with her?

Bukky: No.

PT: When she was growing up, what kind of child was she?

Bukky: She is not wayward, that is why what is happening is surprising me. Somebody is behind this matter because she was not like that before. She is a good child. She loved me and I love her. So, along the way, I don’t know what happened; that is why I said they are manipulating her, using something against her and I want every Nigerian to help me to pray, pray for her that God should deliver her.

PT: Do you know what she does in Canada where she lives?

Bukky: She was going to school before (and) she is a musician.

PT: Does she send you money?

Bukky: Before she dey send me money sometimes.

PT: What do you do for a living?

Bukky: I am a business woman.

PT: How many children do you have?

Bukky: Dem plenty, even the one I born, the one I no born, through herself I brought many of her friends up.

PT: Now if this matter goes to court, are you ready to go to court to testify?

Bukky: I don’t want to go to court, that is why I said they should cancel the matter.

PT: Do you have any advice for mothers?

Bukky: Well they should bring up their child in the way of God.

PT: Do you know anybody who is against your child and who is polluting her against the man of God?

Bukky: I don’t know anybody. Na the lawyer wey make her dey talk all this bad word. The lawyer should leave my daughter alone.

Photos: Man swallowed by python in Indonesia identified as 25-year-old father of two

The man swallowed whole by a 23-foot python in Indonesia earlier this week has been identified as Akbar Bin Ramil Salubriong. Akbar, 25, was trying to harvest palm oil so he could provide for his wife and two children when the python swallowed him, the Tribune Timur reports.
Akbar’s death went viral on Wednesday, after footage of villagers slicing open the cold-blooded killer emerged online.

Villagers in Central Mamuju Regency told the outlet that the young man was planning on using the money from his farming to relocate his family from a nearby town where they had been staying. His wife, Muna, had gone to the town to give birth to their second child.

The discovery of Akbar on Wednesday has left locals in the area in fear for their lives especially since this is the time of year when they are working around snakes’ terrain the most, according to the Jakarta Post.

“These days, we are supposed to harvest palm oil,” Junaedi, secretary of Salubiro village in West Sulawesi, told the newspaper Wednesday.

“But most of the farmers, especially those whose farms are near Akbar’s, are still shocked, afraid that more pythons are still out there.”

Junaedi said the last time a reticulated python as large as the one that attacked Akbar was seen in the area was back in the 1990s.
That sighting would have come as area forests, the serpent’s natural hunting grounds, first began to be transformed into palm-oil plantations.

[For example, a person’s election cannot be challenged on the ground that he did not pay tax, as this is not a qualifying condition under the Constitution.]

State Independent Electoral Commissions can no longer conduct elections that do not meet minimum standards of credibility.

17. Any INEC official who disobeys a tribunal order for inspection of electoral materials shall be imprisoned for 2 years, without an option of a fine.

China bans its Muslims from having 'abnormal beards' or wearing veils

China's Xinjiang region is home to a Muslim majority and the area has been plagued with religious restiveness in recent years. As part of the new 'Regulations on Extremisation of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region', the country has introduced a ban on 'abnormal' beards and wearing of veils in public places. Refusal to watch or listen to state media has also been outlawed. The new rules which come into effect from April 1 states:

'Parents should use good moral conduct to influence their children, educate them to revere science, peruse culture, uphold ethnic unity and refuse and oppose extremism'.

Workers in public spaces such as stations and airports will be asked to 'dissuade' those who fully cover their bodies including veiling their faces from entering. They will also be required to report them to the police.

China claims that the legal, cultural and religious rights of Muslims in Xinjiang are fully protected but people from the region resent what they view as increasing restrictions on their culture and religion. China is home to 1.8 million Muslims and 10 million of them are from Xinjiang province

Earlier this month, ISIS released a video depicting children from Xinjiang training and listening to preachers. The group has vowed to return home and 'shed rivers of blood'.

Five Most Overrated Nigerian Artistes

5) Lil Kesh - This dude practically has little to nothing to offer musically.. With below par lyrics, childish delivery on topics relating to sexual acts and mostly noisy beats, one can say Lil kesh barely survived on the hype of YBNL ..This can be seen in his three singles released after his exit from YBNL,kojo, shele Gan Gan and fake love, all 3 singles not performing to expectation not forgetting his highly forgettable ( pun intended ) debut album, YAGI ...

4) Ycee - Zaheer as he is fondly called is another very overated act...His lyrical prowess can be no where compared to the likes of poe,ozone,Yung6ix and even Erigga..The act who has been using his rapsy voice to gain a edge ,may be surely talented but at the same time ,highly overrated compared to the crop of Rappers out here in Nigeria grinding..

3) Ice Prince - Former choc city act , Ice prince... I find it very hard to believe he actually won a BET award...With wack ass flows like ' I poo in twos ,poo poo...'. one cannot but wonder how the act has managed to acquire a large fan base and selling out shows ...

2) Davido - Yes. ,Davido is very very overrated..Apart from the obviously poor vocal ability, we all know how he comes about his songs including his latest single. The artists has been using nothing but money, influence and connection to force his songs on Nigerians ..If u doubt me, search davido Tim Westwood freestyle on Google and see for yourself.

1) Mr Eazi - The most overrated artiste I know of as to be Mr Eazi.. With an astounding lack of musical surprise and monotonous delivery , How the act managed to gain a huge following with his weak lines and burns boy like vibes remains a surprise ..

These are the five most overrated artists in Nigeria and I hope they prove their talents soonest ..
